PhaseII finished cDNA sequence resource
- We are currently sequencing ~23,000 clones from our EST dataset, as well as 500 clones
from the University of Delaware ChickEST database with the aim of identifying and generating
of producing a large collection of finished chicken cDNA clones, including many full-length
cDNA sequences and novel non-coding RNA genes.
- To date, 19,626 accepted cDNAs have been sequenced by the Sanger Centre and deposited
with EMBL. These can also be downloaded here. - Using a variety of bioinformatics pipelines, we have identified 2,260 as full-length
or complete coding sequences. These are available for searching via. our BLAST page by selecting
'Full-length cDNAs' from the database pull-down menu.
